Do Twitter

Twitter.com is fun and easy and yet somewhat hard to explain. I am getting tired of trying over and over again whenever I am asking friends to join. I’ll try to nail it in this post instead and simply point people to it:
Twitter allows you to publish short messages. You can make these updates right on Twitter.com, via most chat programs or via text message from you mobile phone. Your friends on Twitter will receive your updates automatically either on the site, via email, text chat or as text messages.

Updates are either public (like mine) or protected and available to friends only. You can also send private messages directly.

Once you start sending and receiving these messages you’ll find yourself a lot closer to your peers – even if they are thousands of miles and many time zones away. A friend recently compared it to being in one giant office with Twitter being the water cooler (Try focusing on the positive aspects of that picture).

Give it a try. It is free and will take only seconds to set up. Once you have signed up just follow me. Make sure to configure your account to send updates to your mobile, too.

I am looking forward to hearing from you!
